Hiking the AT

Erin bundled up on the AT.

Well, Erin and I have another trip under our belt. We hiked the AT in both Grayson Highlands State Park and in Shenandoah National Park. As you may know, there are two herds of wild ponies in Grayson and we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with them. Also, during our time in Grayson, we visited the highest point in Virginia, which was kind of neat. We are thinking about trying to hit all 50 of the highest points in the US over the next 20 or 30 years.
Our time in Shenandoah was fun, but without as much wildlife. As you can tell from our pictures, the trip did get chilly and we had hats and gloves for most of the trip. To continue the chilliness, Erin and I are thinking about hiking Glacier National Park this year, before all of the glaciers melt.
If you want, take a look at all of the photos from our trip.
