Road Trip: Day One

Went from Chicago to Siox Falls.


Woo Hoo! On vacation and starting the road trip. All in all, this day was planned to be uneventful. We had about 10 hours of driving to do, and there isn’t much to see in the great state of Wisconsin, or so we thought. Things were going well until our lunch break. Almost immediately after the adjoining picture was taken, a little birdie decided to make an addition to our meal by “dropping” in.
Well, we overcame that obstacle and trucked on to Sioux City, SD. Not much going on there (if you blink you can miss the downtown) but we did have some really good food and beer at Granite City Brewing Company.
