Heading out on vacation pretty soon. A small little trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park in fun and exciting Utah. Both Erin and I are looking forward to this trip in that it will be a nice, relaxing break for both of us. This adds to the list of National Parks that Erin and I have been to.

• Grand Canyon National Park
• Badlands National Park
• Mount Rushmore National Memorial
• Yellowstone National Park
• Lake Mead National Recreation Area
• Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
• Mammoth Cave National Park
• Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (St. Louis Arch)
• And many, many parks in the Washington D.C. Area

Well, Erin and I went up to “The Dells” a few weeks ago and had our first camping trip as a couple. We had a really good time and managed not to strangle each other. That to me satisfies the requirements of a succesfull first camping trip.

Well, we are back from Puerto Vallarta. Erin and I had a great trip. We saw dolphins, the Sierra Madres, dolphins, and a Chicago Cubs bar. You can find pictures from the vacation in the photo section.

Okay, I don’t know if this counts as travel, but Erin and I just got back from a kayaking trip on the Chicago river. It was about an hour and a half, and we got to sit and watch the fireworks go off over Navy Pier.
